AFRL developed some TAK-based tools for finding missing people — from lost hikers to downed pilots.
They’ve made the civilian components public — both as a web based tool (separate post) and here as an ATAK plugin. This YouTube video explains how to use the tool and includes a link to Google Drive for the APK (This will eventually go through the TAK Product Center and to the Play store, but its a bit too large for that without reworking the APK to meet Google’s size restrictions).
Here’s the actual APK on my Google Drive. Its too large for the Play Store. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.
There’s also a TAKServer version which I expect to be released separately.
