  1. Is there a known glitch with this install? I have tried to start the application, but no screen opens, it remains minimised in the tray, but when i try yo open it, the app shits down

    1. same here as well: the application dies immediately after the splash screen, and the WinTAK icon in the tray vanishes as soon as the mouse cursor hovers over it

  2. DidnĀ“t work with these older hardware:
    CPU: AMD X3 3.4Ghz
    Ram: 8GB
    Sytemtyp: 64bit
    Windows 10
    GPU: AMD onboard Card

    Works with these newer hardware:
    CPU: Intel i7 4Ghz
    RAM: 32 GB
    Systemtyp: 64bit
    Windows 10
    GPU: Nvidia GTX1030

  3. It does not work on many computers.
    1. Windows 10 pro x64, cpu intel i3 4 cores, 2,4 Ghz , 4 GB ram ddr3, No working
    2. Windows 10 home x64, cpu intel i5 2 cores, 1,8 Ghz, 4 GB ram ddr3, Working
    3. Windows 10 pro x64, cpu intel i3 4 cores, 3,2 Ghz, 8 GB ram ddr4, No working
    Working only my old laptop.

      1. On all pc I have windows 10 64 bit home and pro with the new updates. I do not know if there is a problem with the intel graphics cards. The application opens normally and gives me 3 errors:
        1.System Component Model Composition Exception.
        2. Invalid operation Exception.
        3. Microsoft internal error Exception

    1. It’s same on me. I have two laptops their are the same as technical parameters and operating OS. One of them working and the another one not. What can be a probrem?

  4. Just heard of WinTAK while in a radio class. IS there something we have to click on once we try to open it? It opens a box with the 3rd party software links and its been there for about 20 minutess….

  5. Same issue. WinTAK was working well on my PC and stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Splash screen appears for a few seconds and then disappears. WinTAK icon disappears in tray when the mouse hovers over it. I’ve tried installing it with all plugins, with some plugins, and also with no plugins. Same result. Is there any resolution to this?

  6. It’s a fed spyware program designed to track dissident citizens who are interested in this kind of stuff, that’s why it disappears, it’s done installing the RAT on your system. Now it knows where you live! They’re coming for you!

  7. I’m using WinTAK and want to send a picture attachment as part of a chat over a radio network, can’t find how to make this work. Any suggestions?

  8. Is there a way to stream map data or load map data into the system?

  9. For everyone that is saying that this wintak is a virus they need to recheck. I just had it scanned with over 40 antivirus programs and it did not come back with anything. Furthermore it was sandbox tested for malicious behavior. If you are still concerned that it is a RAT tool I recommend you install it on an isolated network and sniff out any traffic from the system it was installed on. Both TCP and UDP.
