CivTAK 4.1.0 Released

CivTAK 4.1.0 has been released. This is the full, official release of the ATAK Android application for Civilian use. You can find it here.

The improvements are primarily around navigation, including integration of the navigation tools with Bloodhound, and support for 3D routes.

The data packages (also known as mission packages) are now transmitted via HTTPS to and from the server, even when the server connection itself is not SSL.

There are also upgrades to the SDK and several plugin-specific upgrades.

Note that this version does not support older Android phones with a 32 bit Operating system, nor does it support Intel chipsets. The version found on TAKMAPs.com will continue to support those.

You can find the updated manual here, and the complete change log here.

This will be posted on TAKMaps.com shortly.
